Customer Letter for Staff confirmed COVID-19

Dear Customer,

We would like to keep you informed that an employee based in our office at 21/F, One Kowloon, 1 Wang Yuen Street, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon (“One Kowloon Office”) was tested positive for COVID-19 on 2 March 2021.  Ricoh Hong Kong has activated our Business Continuity Plan and all employees have been recommended to work from home.  This employee last visited the One Kowloon office on 24 February 2021.  The employee is in a client facing role and the affected customers and partners have also been contacted.

The One Kowloon Office floor and lift area where the employee visited have already been sanitized.  Our business, services and operation will be maintained as usual except for some potential delays of generating hardcopy invoices and statements to customers.  All employees working in the One Kowloon Office will undergo compulsory COVID-19 tests and they could only return to the office by showing proof of negative test results. 

We are working closely with the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health, HKSAR Government to support their contact tracing efforts. For the latest information and Government announcement, please visit the Centre for Health Protection website.

We care about the health and safety of the employees as well as our customers. Ricoh is taking the precautious actions as below:

  1. Ricoh had arranged split offices and/or work from home roster for some of our internal operations.
  2. Our Sales Team is encouraged to work remotely and have meetings with customers via video conference tools.
  3. Disinfection and deep cleaning have been arranged for certain area.
  4. For staff working in the office, Ricoh encourages them to maintain proper social distancing.
  5. Regular disinfection cleaning continues in Ricoh Office..
