InfoPrint Solutions Company, the subsidiary company of IBM in the past, had successfully integrated with Ricoh in the Asia Pacific Region and named as Ricoh Production Print Solutions Pte Ltd. The integration will deliver higher customer value and significantly increased market share in the Production Print Solutions space. The InfoPrint Sales, Operations and Professional Services teams in the region will transfer into the existing Ricoh Production Print division to become a stronger organization.  

By combining the strengths of InfoPrint workflow solution with Ricoh hardware, existing and prospective customers will benefit from a faster marketplace response time and a broader portfolio of industry leading end-to-end solutions for production printing. "We have successfully achieved the integration of InfoPrint AP and Ricoh AP production print assets in the region - people, solutions and sales and support coverage - and are now working together in a seamless way" said Nobuaki Majima, Managing Director of Ricoh Asia Pacific. “Each Ricoh subsidiary can now bring the benefits of the combined production print solutions portfolio from InfoPrint and Ricoh to our customers, further extending our value proposition as a one stop solution provider for high end cutsheet to continuous form printers, print management solutions and managed services At present, many Hong Kong banks have adopted the program for InfoPrint for bank statement printing. This program can be easily integrated with the IBM Mainframe system in order to avoid technical problems. In addition, our Ricoh printing system can also be integrated with the InfoPrint software, it enhances customers a wider range of choice.

 In the view of that, the Ricoh Executive Forums were organized on 9 and 11 November in Hong Kong and Macau accordingly. Ricoh Hong Kong and our partners, Pitney Bowes and Laserfiche, shared the latest host printing, integrated mailing, and enterprise document management solutions that are tailor-made for banking and finance industry. The keynote speaker Mr Winston Liu, Senior General Manager-Asia Pacific of Ricoh Production Printing Business Group, shared the trend and the latest production printing technology for business growth with a showcase demonstrating the Infoprint “Automated Document Factory”.
