Green Partners Program

Ricoh Green Partners Program is a program that encourages Ricoh customers to participate in environmental conservation activities. Established in 2009, the program aims to offset our CO2 footprint and to build a platform for sharing knowledge and best practices among companies. Currently, we have more than 50 major customers joined this program.

Objectives:

• To raise environmental awareness and support conservation actively by joint efforts.
• To reduce environmental impact through tree planting or other green activities.
• To improve sustainable environmental management through sharing of knowledge and best practices among members.

Benefits:

1. Offset CO2 emissions in the office

If your company joins the Green Partners Program, Ricoh will donate funding to support tree planting to offset the CO2 emissions based on the number of copies or prints your company has made in the office. 

2. Share best practices in environmental conservation

Members will be able to share best practices on how to create a low carbon office and learn about the latest CSR development in the market.

3. Green Seminars and Forums

Ricoh will invite the Green Partners and experts to participate in seminars and forums to learn about environmental conservation for continuous improvements.

4. Site Visit and Green Activities

Green Partners will have the priority to participate in different site visits like Ricoh’s Toner Refilling Operations, Recycling Plant or Ricoh’s zero-waste factories for learning practical experiences.

According to the print volume of the members, Ricoh donated 5,000 tree seeds to the community in Philippines 2010 and 5,000 tree seeds to the community in India 2011 through “Trees for the Future”. We will organize many environmental activities in the future such as Green Seminars and Workshops, Green Movie Gala, Recycling Plant visit.
