In view of the recent customer data leakage incident has aroused the public concerns, Ricoh Hong Kong Limited is proud to be the first company in the document solutions industry in Hong Kong to obtain the ISO 27001 Certificate given by BSI Management Systems in 2008. This certification demonstrates how Ricoh has put priority in Information Security Management System (ISMS) so as to protect customers' business information.

In fact, Ricoh Group focuses on creating "a genuine secure enterprise" globally. Ricoh Group obtained unified Information Security Management System certification for Ricoh companies in Japan in 2001 and renewed it in 2006. Ricoh companies outside Japan continue to work hard to obtain ISMS certificate. Ricoh believes consistent information security management that combines protecting privacy and promoting ISMS is being carried out as a cross-organisational endeavor.
